Niki Stathaki

Surgeon Dentist

Dr. Niki Stathaki was born and raised in Chania, Crete.

She is a graduate of the School of Dentistry of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens. During her studies she worked as a trainee in different dental units.

She established her dental practice in Kolymbari, in the municipality of Platanias, Chania in 2000.

Dr. Niki is a regular member of the Chania Dental Association, constantly attending special seminars, workshops and dental conferences, in order to be familiar and educated on the latest developments in dentistry.

Christos Tangas

Surgeon Dentist

Graduated in 1993 from Karolinska Institutet of Stockholm, Sweden. Worked in a private clinic and hospital from 1993-1997. Worked in public dentistry in 1997, and then in his own private clinic from 1998 to 2023. He was also working as a dentist for sport teams such as handball and ice hockey from 1998-2018.

Worked in emergency clinic from 2020-2023 as a surgeon, and endodontist and with patients with odontophobia.

Speaks Greek, Scandinavian languages (Norwegian, Swedish,

Danish), English and some German.

Maria Babiolaki

Specialist Orthodontist

The orthodontist Maria Babiolaki, born in Chania, Crete, graduated in 2019 from the Dental School of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki with honors. She then completed a two-year master’s degree in "Metabolic Bone Diseases" at the Medical School of Athens (National and Kapodistrian University of Athens), while working as a general dentist and orthodontic assistant in private clinics, and volunteering at the Dental Clinic of the 401 General Military Hospital of Athens.

She then completed the three-and-a-half-year postgraduate Orthodontic program at Tel Aviv University in Israel, working alongside pioneering and distinguished professors of orthodontics.

During her postgraduate studies, she was responsible for the treatment of many children, adolescents, and adults and received training in the Invisalign and Spark clear aligner technique, lingual orthodontics (Incognito) and the application of mini-implants in orthodontic treatment.

She has published articles in Greek and international scientific journals, presented at conferences and has received an honorary distinction for the best poster presentation.

She actively participates in scientific conferences, seminars, and webinars, staying up-to-date with the latest advancements in orthodontics.
